(1) To obtain a permit for the operation of land service center, the following fees will be required:-
(a) Three thousand rupees in case of an individual (b) Five thousand rupees in case of an organization.
(2) A person or organization wishing to obtain a license to operate a land service center shall deposit the following amount or its equivalent as a bank guarantee bond in the name of the office in the bank designated by the office:-
(a) Fifty thousand rupees in case of an individual,
(b) Two lakh rupees in case of an organization.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rules (1) and (2), the local body shall not be required to submit any fee or bond for obtaining or renewing the license to operate a land service center.
(4) The duration of the license will be one financial year.
(5) A person or an organization who wants to renew the license should submit an application to the office before the expiry of the license period with a fee of three thousand rupees attached to the following documents:
(a) Tax payment certificate,
(b) Bank guarantee for renewal period in case of bank guarantee,
(c) Details of the work done by him.
(6) Regardless of what is written in sub-rule (5), the local body shall submit only the details related to the work it has done while renewing the permit.
(7) A person or an organization who cannot renew the license within the period as per sub-rule (5) may renew it by paying an additional fee of two thousand rupees within ninety days of the expiry of the period as per the sub-rule.
(8) If an application is received for the renewal of a permit according to sub-rule (5) or (7), the office shall renew such permit after conducting necessary investigations on the matter.

If the period as mentioned in (6) expires, the local body, person or organization that has received such a permit will not be allowed to operate the land service center as per this regulation.
